According to the published box score, the Dodgers-Giants game drew a little over 49,000, which is normal attendance for LA. Obviously the grotesque play-actors were brought out quite a while before most people arrived. Looks like an attempt by the organization to avoid the issue, to “eat their cake and have it,” so to speak.
