Corpus Christi Procession in St. Peter's Square with Pope Pius XII, in the Holy Year of 1950. Also in procession is the Corporal of Bolsena, which contains the blood of a Consecrated Host, which bled when a priest doubted the doctrine of Transubstantiation in 1263. pic.twitter.com/GJk3YabDdb

Eternal love.
In Michaelangelo’s painting of God creating Adam, Adam is looking directly at his Creator, having been created in original innocence, full of grace and fully human, God gives Adam Freedom. Adam realizes who he is and what God is doing for him, that is, keeping him in existence. Adam is a child of God.
Corpus Christi is the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, given up for us. Jesus shares His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity with us through the Hypostatic Union. Jesus knows each individual person intimately, the person’s sorrow, pain, and suffering. Christ chooses to share with us Himself, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Holy Eucharist to restore our original innocence, grace and existence in life.
Man regains his status as a child of God, brother of Jesus Christ and a sharer in the Holy Spirit. Man becomes a member in the Mystical Body of Christ, through God’s love, Christ’s mercy and Divine Providence.
