I remember in the book “The Everlasting Man”, GKC spoke on how the Romans defeated the Carthaginian general Hannibal, who’s name literally means “grace of Ba’al”.
Outnumbered as they were, the Romans had the gods of the Home, the hearth, the harvest, The Family. Because of this they fought and won.
Pinky, Giogia Meloni’s bio from Wikipedia is quite interesting. “She describes herself as a Christian and a conservative, and she claims to defend “God, fatherland, and family”. She is opposed to euthanasia, same-sex marriage, and LGBT parenting, saying that nuclear families are exclusively headed by male-female pairs. Her discourse includes femonationalist rhetoric and criticism of globalism. Meloni supports a naval blockade to halt immigration.”
For what it is worth Meloni is considered the 7th most powerful woman in the world. When she was one year old her father abandoned his family. No longer, affluent the family became in her words mpovershed. Critics are calling her far-right and a fascist which she denies.
