What flight suit? He attended a common-and-garden high school in a sketchy part of Dade County, Fl. He’d been billeted with his father’s gf outside of Orlando because he’d had a fight with his mother and she’d but him on a bus north. Is this some sort of tasteless gag?
That was like 20 years ago.
They wouldn’t post his juvie mug shots.

I’m recollecting the curators at that museum had a display on Anita Hill on their opening and nothing about Clarence Thomas. They also had one of those amusing incidents where something inconsequential was mistaken for a noose. This is another occasion, in case you needed one, that ‘black studies’ is a nonsense discipline.
That “earthbound violence” wouldn’t include Martin’s MMA style ground and pound smashing Zimmerman’s head on the concrete, now would it?

Self-defense uses the power of attorney of the aggressor to maintain peace. Police officers used to be called peace keeping officers.
Citizens’ arrest and self-defense are natural laws not under the proscription of lawmakers or jurists.
and they ignore Zimmerman’s human rights. Taking our tax money to violate the natural rights of persons is stealing.
After looking into this (not that news articles made it easy to do so) here seems to be the story:
-There is an organization called “Experience Aviation” which purports to children interested in Aviation and STEM more broadly.
-At some point Trayvon Martin took part in the “Build & Soar” project which is listed as a seven week program.
-The program was focused on building vehicles, not flying. Participants wear flight suits during it and this is where the picture was taken.
-There is no doubt in my mind that Barrington Irvin, the founder of the program, has made use of Martin for advertising purposes. Many of the early news articles on Martin’s life contain lines like “Barrington Irving, the youngest person ever – and the first black pilot – to fly solo around the world, a feat he accomplished in 2007 at the age of 23,” and then go on to basically say “oh yeah, I guess Martin was in the program too” without listing anything significant that Martin did.
-On top of that, within the last day or two the Experience Aviation website has started prominently listing a gofundme to build a “Trayvon Martin racecar,” and that link wasn’t there before the news reports about the flight suit really started going around.
“Trayvon Martin racecar,”
Not sure he’d acquired a drivers’ license at the time of his death. His principal hobby seems to have been mixed-martial-arts.
