Hard to believe that there was a time when the Jesuits were once the intellectual shock troops of the Church. Now they are a sad parody, the stalwart defenders of felt banners, bad music and spirit of Vatican II cutting age thought from 1966.
Jesuits Being Jesuits

Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
Then people are making the correct decision to either go TLM or to the Eastern Catholic Rites.
All the synod does is push the secular society on to the Church.
I have no idea why the few remaining faithful Jesuits stay in that now foul order. It is dead for all real intents and purposes. The Superior General, Arturo Sosa, infamously said that we made up the devil as he is only symbolic. Sosa also said the Gospels must be interpreted because there weren’t any tape recorders back when Jesus was alive. How could any man of faith keep a vow of obedience to that?
I grew up with the Jesuits in the 60s. Now they are unrecognizable. Like most things of this earth, they have a time and it is past.
