I don’t know Art, at least very well, but I do know what I hate, and man did I hate the above during the Pope’s Orwellian Year of Mercy. My Bride is a cantor, and when she is on duty I sit behind her during Mass. This gave me an eyeful of the above and I found it creepy and off-putting in the extreme. I thought at the time that the artist had to have a very bent understanding of human nature to come up with it. Little did I know.
Oh, and the fix is in:

So he basically was not held to account by not having “a visitation or financial audit”. He is clearly the fall guy for something bigger going on. And by “no financial audit” they want to ensure whatever is happening continues to happen. Rest In Peace Cardinal Pell, you tried. There is nobody who could have prevailed against this filth.
Well, there is this one guy who could…
And you never know – maybe He’ll send us another Athanasius in the meantime.
Diane Montagna has deleted the tweet. Something is up….
My Bride is a cantor
I’m gonna be a pest and suggest ‘cantrix’.

It’s probably much simpler than that, Ezabelle … He’s a well-connected pervy Jesuit and his known crimes continue to multiply. They’re telling him that, if he goes quietly (so the news cycle can move along) they’ll let him keep all the cash and property he’s stolen.
You’re probably on the mark CAG.
We have that “art” on the cover of our missalette. Those eyes remind me of the abyssal voids staring out from Antifa mugshots.
If the Vatican had to cut a deal to laicize Rupnik, he and Essjay Boys must have some dirt on them.
Every religious artist has to ask himself, am I creating this work for me, or for others, or for God? And if the answer is “no, I’m creating it to give birth to horrors”, then maybe, I don’t know…
