There is a grade school in Bernard Swierczyna’s home town named in his honor. His and Adelaida’s son, Felicjan, visited the 3rd grade class in Feb of 2013 and told the students the story of his father. Thankfully Swierczyna’s literary works survive him and of course his last words on the prison cell.
