Today, being January 6, is the Feast of the Epiphany in most countries, as well as in the Maronite Church and observers of the Traditional Latin Mass calendar. We are observing Epiphany today.

The annual Epiphany Open House at the Mission started at 1:00 with the resident priest blessing the exterior and interior of the rectory and office. Inscribed in chalk above the main door B+C+M MMXXIII for Balthazar, Casper, Melchior 2023.
All present adjourned to the dining room for buffet lunch. Because my great grandfather was named John Casper after one of his “Three Kings” uncles I have always observed the Feast of the Magi.
