Rigged Election

Elon Musk, through journalist Matt Taibbi, is releasing the thousands of internal Twitter documents establishing how Twitter, at the behest of the Democrats, censored the Hunter Biden story just before the 2020 election in order to get Biden elected.  When Trump claimed after the election that it had been rigged, he didn’t know the half of it.

History books should have an asterisk behind Biden’s name indicating his election was illegitimate.

Suggestions as to effectively protect the electoral system from future attacks? What is it going to take?
How do we trump Tech Lords, MSM and diabolical election saboteur’s?

We have too many weak wristed Rino party members and an emboldened party of evil who will go beyond the lines of fair play to get what they want.

When will it come to blows?

I’m not advocating it, just wondering aloud.

Something will give way one day and the Chinese protests of today could look like the future of Amerika if this bs doesn’t get worked out.

Although many who support and engage in this sort of thing proclaim they are doing it for the greater good, they quickly turn into a permanent form of Mr. Hyde when they attain office. They do not hesitate to use the power of government agencies to persecute and harass their opponents by any means available. This is the start of tyranny and once established is most difficult to roll back.

It was not only the Hunter laptop cover-up. They deployed the China virus to stage the flu d’etat and get rid of America first Trump.

Their founder, “Power comes from the barrel of a gun.”

I guess this portion of the population sold out to the CCP-owned oligarchy and welfare state. About 43% of American think USA elections are secure.

Philip,

To the party of evil, a criminal enterprise if there ever was one, the end justifies the means.

I think [klaxons] your ‘weak wristed RINO party members’ are elated over the 2020 and 2022 election riggings. Case in point Chinese McConnell. And the rest are cowards that we need to replace with street fighters.

They did it again three weeks ago. To think for one second that a majority of voters in AZ, GA, NV, PA, and the USA in general are supportive of the flagrant dumpster fire the CCP-owned oligarchs have inflicted on America is an indictment their so-called democracy, really their autocracy.

Das Dicke Ende Kommt Nach.

Best worst case scenario: we have a just cause, 400 million guns, and a trillion bullets.

Das Dicke Ende Kommt Nach.

We didn’t start this.
We didn’t ask for it but by God we will not sit by quietly and allow the vermin to infest our future. Slavery is their end game.
Things getting far worse?
Agreed.
Rosary and brass.
Polished for the occasion.

I agree with James….
Elon Musk is saving our country..but there will be hardships ahead. Gritty work.

No. Twitter is not capable of rigging an election.

To rig an election, you have to change the votes after they are cast, or to add fake votes for your favored candidate, or to directly intimdate voters (as in having someone looking over their shoulder) into casting the “correct” votes, or at the very least to have prevented the “wrong” voters from reaching the polls. If the election is decided by voters who are ignorant of the facts, too stupid to work out the consequences, selfish in the ends for which they vote, etc., it is not a rigged election, it is just like every election that has ever taken place.

Democracy can only work if the bulk of the electorate can be trusted to make rational decisions for the public good. Both the “rational decision” and the “public good” part are highly suspect these days, and frankly, the campaign ads on both sides makes it clear that NEITHER major party believes that voters are doing anything other than making emotional decisions for selfish reasons. If the two parties are right, it’s game over for democracy, no matter what Twitter does or does not do.

Nonsense. The mistake you are making is roughly analogous to equating seduction and rape. Both maybe wrong, but it is a serious error to equate them.

If you think it is OK for people to base their votes on what they see on Twitter, but only if the right people are running Twitter, you’re part of the problem.

If you think it is OK for people to base their votes on what they see on Twitter,

We knew in real time they suppressed information about the laptop in collusion with government officials (as the FBI had sat on the lap top for a year and threatened the repairman). What Musk and Taibbi have provided is the internal deliberation which indicates who precisely is implicated.

Democracy can only work if the bulk of the electorate can be trusted to make rational decisions for the public good.

Democracy bumps and grinds along just fine without that. What it requires is a political class willing to respect ground rules and without major factions who fancy institutions of state are their personal property. We do not have that. In re the appellate courts and public higher education, we haven’t had that for sixty years or more.

For all this we thank the Twitter, Facebook, Google, NYT, CBS, et al censors.

One, almost certainly there would be no Ukraine war.

There’s a Ukraine War because V. Putin and his camarilla are attempting to conquer a neighboring country in the service of their own bad objects. The tech b*stards are not responsible for that one.

Art, there was no Ukraine or Crimea or Georgia type war between January 2017 and January 2021.

One, VP would not do it if Trump were in the White House. Because elevated oil prices would have not bee ther to finance the war; Trump could [keep them guessing] have bombed him; and Trump had leashed unelected CIA and State guys like Vennman [front man] neo-cons [who had screwed around in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine over years under Obama] and their DARK OPS and DARK MONEY operations.

PS: only one of the reasons the deep state had to GET TRUMP.

PPS: The State and CIA records of failure rival that of the Fed.

In conclusion, describe the Venn diagram between Never Trumpers and neo-cons.

For crying out loud, Wm. Kristol isn’t Satan. He’s just a nuisance. From 1992 to the present, there has been no distinctly ‘neoconservative’ perspective. There are just people related to other people who were editors of certain publications, contributors to certain publications, and / or members of certain letterhead organizations. Most (not all) of them were disaffected leftists of one sort or another. There is not one person under 60 who fits that description and all the leading figures are dead or very old. Norman Podhoretz is 92 years old and Irving Kristol died 13 years ago. Nor is ‘neocon’ a synonym for NeverTrump. The most influential figure in that set was Elliot Abrams, one of the few who held a high position in government. He was also a Trump appointee. The ne-plus-ultra NeverTrumpers are David French, who never had any association with them in any venue, and Mona Charen, who might or might not have belonged to one of their letterhead organizations in 1984-90. The entire ‘neocon’ discourse is silly and ought to cease.

I’m with Outis. There is a common understanding of what the word “rigged” means, and what happened in 2020 is outside it. It can be effective rhetoric to extend the meaning of a word, but doing so risks reducing clarity as much as it might increase it. For example, the term “groomer” jolted a lot of people awake to just how bad the school system has become, but it also led to confusion about what accusation was being made. We more conservative types should be careful about this, particularly when so many accusations have been flying.
