In the end, it is impossible to make our offspring free, just as it is impossible to sell them into slavery for all time. Each generation must choose for itself if it will be free (and my own generation seems to prefer a kind of comfortable slavery). The best we can do is try to set a good example. Again, no one will look back to this time as being characterized by good examples.
