One interesting hypothesis bruited about is that he’s one of a set of Antifa the Pelosis have on retainer (presumably through a couple of cut-outs). He figured out who was paying the bills and has jumped the chain-of-command to demand unpaid wages. This would be consistent to Pelosi’s odd description of him. (Do not know who he is, but his name is ‘David’ and he is a ‘friend’).

The bodycam footage would not tell you what transpired before the police arrived. The motion in federal court by the FBI agent assigned to the case contains a precis of the interviews San Francisco police undertook with Pelosi on the way to the hospital, dePape in custody having been read his rights, and ‘Witness 1′ a security guard at a nearby property. There’s nothing jaggedly incompatible with these three precis. Maybe it is not faithful to the accounts transcribed by San Francisco police and maybe the officers’ notes were edited to remove details embarrassing to Pelosi. If these accounts are true, their was no security detail on the premises and Pelosi forgot to turn on the alarm system.
