Political differences can be papered over through compromise and give and take. This type of nauseating tripe goes way beyond politics and raises questions that cannot be papered over. Once Leftists decided to go to war with all prior Western Civilization in the Sixties an irrepressible conflict has been brewing, and I fear we are on the cusp of it.

This period, imho, is a period of decision unlike any other in the American governance process.

Eventually there will be price paid for this evil. Unfortunately there will also be spillover on the innocent as this sort of thing has gone on too long to be contained in its own vessel of perdition. Regrettably we can look to some of our co-religionists, to include some scarlet and purple, as contributors to this evil.
The budgets for federal agencies typically have a line marked ‘grants, subsidies, and contributions’. It should be the rule that the value of ‘grants, subsidies, and contributions’ = $0 unless the federal agency in question is on an exceptions list. The exceptions list might include the Social Security Administration, the Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services, FEMA, the Veterans Benefit Administration, the Humanitarian Assistance apparat at the Agency for International Development, and a scatter of others. That for the components of the State Department should equal $0.
One part of the problem is that it’s other people’s money. Another is that a tipping point has been reached and a critical mass of our professional-managerial employees are creeps.
