Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.

Using Catholicism to bring about “another” end? Why that would imply that even one of the Apostles was capable of doing evil…. Again, Satan always puts a halo on the evil he does. A Roman collar, or a bishop’s miter, fills that need perfectly.
For people like Martin, the goal is to make gay clerics feel better about their hook-up app lifestyles. Pope Bergoglio surrounds himself with such gents.
They are essential to his goal of making Catholicism into a skinsuit for the spiritual organization that walks hand in hand with the oligarchs.
I wouldn’t put this under a “Lavender Mafia” complaint. But I read the statement and the tweets are accurate. I don’t know what a faith-filled speech to a consulting company would look like, but this wasn’t it. I’d even wager they came away disappointed that the pope’s statement sounded like every other speech they’d ever heard.
Men who have taken Holy Orders have promised God to bring all men to heaven. Individuals who violate their sworn vow to God to bring all men to heaven are devils. There is no other way to explain the violence being done to the eternal truth of man’s salvation, the price of which is the crucifxion, death and resurrection of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who died as the Son of Man.
These men are adulterers who go about the race of men as frauds, liars and the spawn of Satan. Jesus told them that their father was the father of lies. Much has not changed. Do not follow nor support them in their damned road to hell. Without God, their vows, their integrity, they will be happy in hell.
In a similar vein, Mark Shea’s best friend, Steven Greydanus, retweeted a Twitter thread that criticized Herschel Walker for supporting a nationwide ban on abortion. See here.
He’s literally a deacon. His job, as Mary pointed out, is to bring people to Heaven. I may not be a Catholic, but I feel bad for my Catholic friends who have to put up with members of the clergy like him.
It’s also telling how Francis can’t even bother to deliver his trademark critique of capitalist excess when he has an audience with a multinational consultancy and professional services firm worth $60 billion. No critique of corporate compensation for abortion travel either.
Remember, Bussy Boyd, that there’s no a communist out there who doesn’t love money from corporate executives. That includes the heretical Marxist Peronist Caudillo from hell currently occupying the seat of St. Peter.
LQC, you meant Not as opposed to No? If so, good point.
