The Houck family lawyer Peter Breen:

This was a show of force by the Puppetmasters’ Administration prior to the midterms to intimidate the pro-life movement in particular and conservatives in general. This demonstrates that they do not understand us at all.
Meanwhile the Diocese of Boston has refused to endorse a Men’s March against abortion for political reasons.
Compare the Houck raid by the FBI with the raid on David Daleiden’s household in California by Kathleen Harris. The crime in the first raid was praying in front of a Planned Parenthood clinic. The crime in the second one, if I recall correctly, was fake ID. David Daleiden, as a journalist, was exposing the criminal behavior of Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood donates a lot of money to Kamala Harris’ campaigns.
The raids were very similar, in as much as both of them were designed to create the most public humiliation of “enemies of the state”.
This is Harris’ MO. Is that petty shrew running the DOJ now?
The left’s gestapo = FBI.
Not hard to guess what side Shea is on. https://twitter.com/chezami?lang=en
Shea’s best friend, Steven Greydanus, retweeted a Twitter thread that criticized Herschel Walker for supporting a nationwide ban on abortion. See here.
He’s literally a deacon.
“Not hard to guess what side Shea is on.“
Shea blocked me on Twitter six months ago.
I know I’m a glutton for punishment for asking, but what did he say?
David WS.
Seán Patrick O’Malley is sending a message that innocent lives don’t matter. The blood of the innocents will be accompanying the leader of the Boston diocese when he is called home to give his account.
Political indeed.
Faith Hope and Love…..the greatest of these is…..
This was Shea’s thought on the matter:
Today’s Panic du Jour for MAGA Cultists: cosplay at martyrdom and imagine you are being persecuted because a Big Noise in the “prolife” community got arrested for assaulting a 72 year old man. Only a sucker trusts Liesite News.
People’s online personality gives you a very hit-and-miss sense of what they’re like in meatspace. Still, I cannot help but suspect that Janet Shea has a lot on her plate.

No mention of the 72 year old constantly getting in the face of the 12 year old son and yelling all sorts of vile insults. Or about the 25-30 FBI agents staging a raid after Mark Houck through his attorney said that he was quite happy to voluntarily surrender. Or how this is a nothing burger of a case of simple assault, which the State declined to prosecute, magically transformed into a Federal case with Houck facing the risk of 11 years in prion. Shea’s mendacity and utter intellectual dishonesty is a wonder to behold.
Note that O’Malley would rather kow tow to the democrat establishment. He authorized a public funeral for the notorious pro-abort Ted Kennedy in violation of Cannon Law guidelines. The diocese has been ill served by this cleic and little wonder the number of closed churches under his regime.
Shea’s mendacity and utter intellectual dishonesty is a wonder to behold.
Yeah, and the alleged “assault” isn’t even the reason given for the raid. Apparently, the federal crime here was blocking a Planned Parenthood abortion mill. Now they’re saying in order for Houck to be released from custody he has to surrender his passport and any firearms he (legally) owns.

I was right. I am a glutton for asking.
and little wonder the number of closed churches under his regime.
About 30% of the parishes were closed ca. 2004 shortly after he was installed. Too much real estate, too few parishioners, too few priest, so merging canonical parishes and shuttering particular churches was sensible. Cannot blame him for that. You might blame him (to a degree) for the state of vocations in the archdiocese and the large number of nominal Catholics not appearing. Keep in mind, though, that the current occupant of the papacy generates quite a head wind.
