

It is too easy to forget that people caught up in a historical vortex are three dimensional people and not stick figures in a play. Ashli Babbitt ended her sojourn in this Vale of Tears because she was in the wrong place at the wrong time and had the bad luck to run into a panicky bad cop. It was her misfortune to live in turbulent times and to have an outspoken nature. When I think of her and her death, I fear that history may be in one of it’s rhyming moods:

The actions and reaction to her death was purely racial. One need only look at the George Floyd death to understand this.
Rather purely ideological. The driving force on the Left in this country is white college graduates, often upper class, economically speaking.
