Joy all around this morning as Archbishop Domenico Battaglia displays the miraculously liquified blood of San Gennaro (Saint Januarius) on his feast day in the Cathedral of Naples. pic.twitter.com/L4CL9ULlCO

The funeral for Queen Elizabeth might appear a tad overdone to some but I’ll remind you that Italian Catholics have a TV station dedicated to observing the corpse of Padre Pio who died in 1968. pic.twitter.com/YHqLnKOltV

It’s in the best interest of the Italians to hold onto their Faith- it’s so ingrained into their culture.
By the way- anyone notice that Cardinal Vincent Nichols of Westminster said one of the prayers of the faithful at the Queens funeral? That would have been at the request of the Queen herself. I had to do a double take to be honest. I also noticed an icon of Our Lady holding Our Lord in Westminster Abbey.
There were so many similarities in the service it makes you hope one day there would be a unification between COE and Catholic Church. Such a shame for the divide.
I would be interested in knowing the prediction accuracy of the miracle of San Genaro. I understand that if the blood does not liquify, some misfortune is imminent.
