Imagine if you were building critical structures on estimates.
Math and I never were on good terms.
I remember in HS math one of the guys saying his answer was close. Ther teacher said, “Yes. And the bridge you were building collapsed.”
People that push that insane BS are covertly or overtly intent on societal collapse.

A professor I had in differential equations would solemnly walk into class holding the Diff EQ textbook as a Priest or Deacon would walk holding the Bible.
Some 40 years ago when I was qualifying as a submarine reactor operator, I was told, “Do your math right or learn to breathe seawater.” Everyone had to do his math right, from the knuckle dragging auxiliaryman machinist mates to the computer expert sonarman & fire control techs to sliderule flipping reactor operators. No room for mistakes at a thousand feet down.
