Ok we shall see…
He just appointed McElroy as a cardinal. McElroy protected a priest who admitted to raping a woman at a satanic Mass. The priest, Jacob Bertrand, eventually was prosecuted but with no help from McElroy, who refused to turn over documents requested by the prosecution. The woman, Rachel Mastrogiacomo, has never heard from McElroy or the diocese other than getting some therapy visits paid for. There’s no “we shall see” with Francis, because we already know. He aids and abets the coverup of sexual abuse. He is the problem.
FOS – I was being sarcastic. I wasn’t holding my breath. I agree with your assessment. His talk is just talk.
Hahaha…oh the irony…oh the gaslighting. What a cesspool we have in the hierarchy.
Francis just says what he thinks his audience at that moment wants to hear. It’s meaningless word salad.
If you want to know what Francis really thinks and wants, you have to ignore the thicket of empty words he puts up, and instead look at the personnel with which he surrounds himself— and who he banishes.
It’s not an edifying sight. And it doesn’t make me think that Francis is for one moment serious on this matter.
Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil
