Devout Catholic
- Donald R. McClarey
Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
And Pope Francis and Bishop Wilton Gregory… (crickets..)
Like something out of the twilight zone,, of hell.
Please forgive me for not recalling who made this eerie connection on TAC but its worth repeating, imho;
The transportation of the Jews, Catholic clergy and Jew sympathizers in box cars for the final solution and today’s order from der fuhrer for another type of final solution.
Devout Catholic my arse.
Of course it takes a good catholic to recognize a good catholic…something PF and Brandon have in common.
Last week or earlier at CNR “Pope Francis derides Biden on being self styled Catholic. His abortion stance is inchoherent with Church teaching” or words to that effect. The pope then goes on to say life begins at conception, etc.

IF PF actually said that, it will be the first time he has commented on Brandon’s love of murdering the innocent—to my knowledge.
He allegedly said it- the interview was in Spanish on Univision. But he also said that it’s up to the Bishops whether they deny Communion and they should be “pastoral” in their approach. (So sick of that euphemism).
Unless he straight-down-the-line endorses the pro-abortion politician be denied communion with no doubt in anyone’s mind, then everything else he says about life is meaningless.
Just can’t believe we are living in a situation where we are discussing whether our Pope is representing our Catholic teaching correctly.
“Pastoral” today is really cowardice and uncaring twice over -towards the child and towards the faith(ful).
This pope is not leading.
The pope is not Catholic. Go read paragraph 161 of Evangelii Gaudium where he inverts the First Commandment (“the first and the greatest of the commandments, and the one that best identifies us as Christ’s disciples: This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you”). Of course, Mk. 12:28-34 refutes Francis. And of persons like this who change the Gospel, St. Paul says quite clearly in Galatians 1:8 “…let them be anethma!” Then there’s his statement that God wills the diversity of religions, a statement made in the context/listing of things that God clearly wills such as the diversity of color, sex and race. And, this statement is in the same document where Francis affirms “that whoever kills a person is like one who kills the whole of humanity…”, but fails to make any allowance for self defense or just war. Simply put, at least Luther had the courage to call it Lutheranism. Francis peddles his new false religion under the name of Catholicism. There are many more examples (See footnotes 329 and 351 from Amoris Letitia), but the conclusion remains. Francis is not Catholic, at least as measured against the Catholicism passed down from the apostles.
