One of the most brilliant economists and social commentators of our time. His books are treasures. Get one if you like to read. This brilliant man is largely ignored by the leftist controlled media due to his refusal to parrot their ideologies.

If they don’t get thrown out this November, the socialists will kill American prosperity like Venezuela – formerly the most prosperous country in Latin America.

Re: most academic economists/propagandists. They practice applied ideology and teach Never Land, leftist myths on economics.

Socialism has been called economics with Alzheimer’s. Keynes [silence the cat calls, just quoting him] said [something like] future historians would be astounded that a ‘system’ so dull and illogical could have swayed so many minds in the 20th century.

I don’t think a discussion of ‘socialism’ is worth anyone’s time. Our problems can be described in much more precise terms.

Socialism is economics and politics with demonism. Kill as many persons made in the image and likeness of God as possible, do NOT let any such person enjoy God’s glory as evidenced by Pleni Sunt Caeli Et Terra, nor let any human being mirror that divine glory by doing acts of virtue here on earth. With each demonic socialist regime [I know: baby puppies], and this includes the demonic regime of our current democrats of the Party of Death, look at the astounding numbers of persons killed, and the demonic ways in which Satan’s minions use to kill them. Mao-over 100,000,000. Americans-over 63,000,000 murdered babies. Stalin – probably around 30,000,0000 or more. Hitler and national Socialists, about 10,000,000 to 20,000,000 depending, etc etc etc thru history. Art Deco-You are spot on and the “more precise terms” are demonic, satanic, and diabolical. the “more precise terms” are demonic, satanic, and diabolical.

Not really. They’ll do for rhetorical flair.
Jonathan Turley, a man continually nonplussed that the academic world he entered in 1987 is no more, offers for your consideration another gem, courtesy the associate dean of law at Seton Hall University.

Seton Hall, you’ll recall, is a quondam Catholic college which once hosted Dermot Quinn’s Chesterton Review.

As for Venezuela, it’s downfall has had two or three stages. Prior to 1999, it was a sterling example of what geographer’s call the ‘resource curse thesis’. Under Chavez, it was a sterling example of fake prosperity derived from unbridled public expenditure and (at the end) outright theft. Under Maduro, it is a totalitarian ruin, where the meagre proceeds of the country’s natural resource bonanza are expended on keeping the men with guns happy while the rest of the population is immiserated.
