The Pope Always Has Our Back

May God have mercy on both their souls.

With a pope and hierarchy as we have now, the rate of conversions must be reaching an all time low. It It beyond difficult to engage in rational apologetics with this sideshow drawing the crowd’s attention.

I wonder when 1st Corinthians 11:27-32 will kick in:

27 Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be answerable for the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Examine yourselves, and only then eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For all who eat and drink without discerning the body, eat and drink judgment against themselves. 30 For this reason many of you are weak and ill, and some have died. 31 But if we judged ourselves, we would not be judged. 32 But when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that we may not be condemned along with the world.

On another site, someone said the priest who gave Pelosi communion wouldn’t have recognized her. Oh come on now! Her botox shrunk face is one of the most recognizable ones in the world! And if that priest didn’t know who she was, the Pope certainly knew! And wouldn’t the security people be able to inform him that she was there as well? Nope, there’s no excuse for what happened at that mass!

Biden, James Martin, Not a word on the Supreme Court striking down Roe, and now this.

When I hear the name “Pope Francis” on Relevant Radio, I shut it off. If that makes me a bad catholic, so be it. “By their fruits you’ll know them.”

Planned Parenthood was not trafficking in abortion in the 1940s. Prescott Bush sired five children and his children produced 17.

True. PP hit the ground running with the legalisation of abortion. However, Prescott Bush helped give legs to a push for a wider acceptance of artificial contraception, which was and is always, a gateway acceptance of abortion as a means of birth control. Convince a woman to accept that she has the power to control her fertility through artificial means, and you will likely get her to accept abortion as a means to control the number of children she has. It’s the contraceptive mentality.

Bush Snr himself said:
“My own first awareness of birth control as a public policy issue came with a jolt in 1950 when my father was running for the United States Senate.”

The initial business model of PP was a linking of Eugenics to birth control, aptly naming a 1940s conference held by Birth Control Federation of America * (the precursor to Sangers PP which she helped form): “Race Building in a Democracy”. They weren’t even hiding the fact that the objective of pushing for Artificial Birth Control was to stop the poor from reproducing whilst encouraging the rich to have as many babies they so well pleased. BCFA dropped the “Birth Control” from their name and re-branded to something fuzzier euphemism- *Planned Parenthood Federation of America in 1942.

So, in response to the number of children he had, Prescott Bush and his wife were free to have as many babies as possible. They were rich after all. The poor were looked at with scorn because they were a “burden on the system”. In those days the poor areas Sanger and her ilk were targeting were inner city areas, which were made up of Eastern European Jews and Southern European Catholics. (Today, the same areas are mainly Black and Hispanics). These were the populations where Birth Control was being peddled in 30’s and 40’s. And this was the mentality of Prescott Bush and the elite world he moved around in 1940’s. It is, as it always has been a do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do mentality. Nothings changed much.

I don’t deny the fact that Jews haven’t been an economic upwardly mobile people. And well-established, In all areas- business, banking, politics, entertainment. However that was not the case across the board for Jewish Americans.
The Lower East side of NY had the largest concentration of working class Jews starting from the late 19th century and continuing into the early half-mid 20th Century. It was also the most densely populated city region with 700 people per acre. All living and working in overcrowded neighbourhoods. One of the largest Jewish populated areas outside of Russia and other parts of Europe. The Jews there weren’t wealthy. Infact, many worked what would be described today as sweatshops. An apartment room would house 9 people- a sizeable family plus boarders. It wasn’t uncommon for Jews to have upwards of 9 kids. There was also a strong global anti-semitism during 30’s and 40’s (and the US was no exception with its restrictive immigration regulations) which barred large-scale Jewish immigration into US, and prevented many Jews finding work where the employer wasn’t an anti-Semite. Which is probably why Jewish business owners employed their own. The US did not realise the extent of the Holocaust until the end of WW2. There’s lots of evidence and reading material to demonstrate the level of poverty amongst Jews during that era as well as a strong anti-semitism. The Catholics copped it also. Which is probably where the PP anti-Catholic bigotry stemmed from. Sanger and Nazi inspired Eugenics went hand in hand.

I’d be interested to know just when Pelosi made plans for her trip to see Francis— was it after her Ordinary, Archbishop Cordileone, announced she was to be denied Holy Communion?

It’s not as if she was going to the Vatican anonymously, and slipped unnoticed into the crowd at a Mass celebrated by Francis.
No, she was received in a private audience where gifts were exchanged, and at Francis’ Mass was seated with other dignitaries. In short, the details of her visit with Francis were arranged between their two staffs well in advance. In short, none of this was accidental, and none of this could have gone off without Francis and his staff permitting it.

Trying to look at this as anything other than both Francis and Speaker Pelosi giving pro-life Catholics (and Archbishop Cordileone) their middle fingers… well, that’s just wishful thinking.
