The first inkling that many cult members have that they are in a cult is when the cult turns on them, usually over something seemingly trivial.
This all reminds me of a revived Twilight Zone episode where a group of cowboys in the Old West are given the ability by a mysterious stranger to disintegrate someone by just thinking it. Inevitably they turn on each other. The sole survivor learns at the end of the episode that the stranger is a representative of an advanced extraterrestrial civilization. He administers this test to any civilization entering the Industrial Age to see if they will be a threat to his civilization. If they fail the test he destroys the planet. Earth passed the test, since the reaction of the cowboys indicated that humanity would soon destroy itself after discovering nuclear weapons. No action needed therefore to destroy Earth. Leftism is always an exercise in Mutually Assured Destruction.

If these people will do this in a public world forum & drag their employer into it at the same time—just imagine what they will do in private on company time! If I were these people’s boss, I would renegotiate these folks contract, demote them, & make them sign a new contract that said they would be terminated if they had a social media account. This is pure stupidity. I would not want my business associated with it.
