Not even for the canceling, but that David Weigel should have been fired long ago for fake news. What does it say about our society that a tacky joke gets you in more trouble than just making things up in a newspaper?

As a female who has had to deal with discriminatory behavior from males in the work place because I am a female, let me say the following. It should be just fine for people to make sexist jokes on their own private time. But there is no room for such behavior on the job. NONE. And I am in a job where my contract allows me to be fired for what I do in my private time because I work with children. In fact, my private actions could result in the loss of my state teacher’s license.
