Interesting how Francis will indulge individual bishops and national councils of bishops when they take their flocks leftward— think of the German bishops and their national council for example. In those cases, Rome wouldn’t dream of interfering in a bishop’s governance.
But as we see here, and recently in Puerto Rico, bishops who dare give aid and comfort to more traditional members of their flock are publicly made to taste Francis’ whip. Pour encourager les autres, no doubt.
Yup, all true. He wants the Trads and anything that hints of tradition, gone. The writing is clearly on the wall.
So will he simply refuse to allow them to be ordained?
I predict they will be ordered to be reeducated. And we wonder why there is a crisis in vocations.
