The word “abortion” is a euphemism to begin with.
Remember that the progression on the left is always to begin with “this will never happen and you are a lunatic for thinking it will” and to end with “of course this is happening and you are a bigot for having a problem with it.”
In the beginning they needed to paint abortion as a tragic but unavoidable reality, hence the language about “safe” and particularly “rare.” But now they have moved past that point and can no longer have any criticism leveled against their unholy sacrament. Thus rare turns into accessible, and abortions go from a tragic procedure necessary to prevent “back-alley procedures with coat hangers” to essential healthcare. The most insidious change is “choice” to “decision.” Choice implies that the woman is still thinking about things and may weigh her options to perhaps not get the abortion in the end. Decision is more final; the abortion is happening as a done deal.
How else can they expect to sell the concept of dismembering of tiny body parts and the vacuum suction of a defenceless human without giving their message a rinse and spin through the marketing department.
