I recently overheard a conference call of women owned businesses and one said that she was ONLY hiring foreigners and NOT Americans. All of the other women business owners all agreed with her decision.

Hiring foreigners is cheaper than hiring locals. It has nothing to do with equity and what Jasmine Friedl is spruiking.
Also, DropBox is slowly being replaced by the latest Microsoft applications which allows the user to share files and file links without the use of third party applications. Third party applications, such as Dropbox, which harass you with a daily barrage of EDMs.
The tech sector has used H-1B visas to bring in foreign workers to replace American workers.

Serious companies hire people to get work done. Frivolous companies hire people to ‘represent’.
