Thought For The Day

Sloth, lust, gluttony, greed, wrath and pride also have their advocates within the Church if the sins can be woven into an oppressors/oppressed narrative.  “Social Justice” covers a multitude of sins in a patina of fake Christianity.  The true battle between good and evil is waged within each human soul and won and lost daily.

IMO, “social justice” and “equality” are tropes favored by salaried employees of public agencies and philanthropic concerns, and not all of them. Ordinary people think in terms of ‘help’ and focus on their own domestic life and workplace, saving their resentment for supervisors, management, and twits employed in various bureaucracies with which they’re compelled to interact.

Dr. Sowell’s quotes are always valuable.

Yesterday, I read one detailing how results not inputs determine [are the measure of] economic value. Social justice tries to upend that truism.

Anyhow, for the demtotalitarians social justice simply is another alibi to wastefully spend [with 10% for the big guys] other people’s money and take away their liberty. E.G., they used the CCP virus to crash the economy, get Trump out, spend $7 trillion of your money, and take away your lives for two years.

As I’ve often said; Satan never sells his evildoing without first painting a halo on it.

And at a quondam Catholic college, this:

I would be delighted to see Republican state and federal legislators go Kennesaw Mountain Landis on higher education at this point. A set of someones erected the program in which he works, hired and tenured this man, elected him president of the Society of Christian Ethics, &c. No official at his home institution or the institution where he spoke will say ah yes or boo about this.
