Korea– the true Korea, the Republic– makes very good cars, too.
A leftist would be aghast at the horrendous carbon footprint of those selfish capitalists in the south. The north is clearly much more at peace with the environment.
My wife has taken to watching Korean TV shows on Netflix. From the cops and robbers or good guy bad guy scenes, it’s very evident that the actors all spent time in the military. My understanding is conscription is 100%. Their handing of weapons is spot on perfect. A bit frightening actually. They mean business.
The shows are family orientated.
One criticism, they need to settle down and have children, many of the shows are endless perpetual non-sexual romance.
