A round of the inflation we are seeing now is murder on small businesses, just as the Covid shutdowns were murder on small businesses. It doesn’t take a conspiracy theorist to see that the people making policy in Washington could care less about small businesses and the vast number of people they employ.

The big corporations have high powered lobbyists and make large political contributions. Small business has an anemic Chamber of Commerce and is supposedly represented by the Small Business Administration headed by an anonymous nonentity. Little surprise who gets the attention in DC.
