That the Democrats could only scrounge up 46 votes for their abortion-until-the-umbilical-cord-is-cut bill is telling. They are not all idiots and they realize abortion is going to cost them seats in the fall. Then why do it? Because the Democrat party is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Left and because majority leader Chuck Schumer is terrified of being primaried by AOC. Every Democrat this year should have to explain why they want the US to adopt the most radical pro-abortion regime in the world. In the House only one Democrat voted against this monstrosity.
