The real issue is that, as in America, far too many ‘citizens” are addicted to freedom by “government permission” only, as long as the government pays them well with either money or support of their many sins.
Time for the police and the military to work to rule. It’s also time for the Liberal Party caucus in parliament to put an end to this by unloading him. The moment of truth is now for the Conservative caucus in the Ontario legislature and the CAQ caucus in Quebec. The premiers in both provinces have been a scandal.

The Conservatives in Quebec are a minor, federally-oriented party. The starboard in Quebec is manifest (supposedly) in CAQ. Quebec had no starboard provincial party of much consequence between 1973 and 2007, and Legault’s is the first notionally starboard ministry since 1970. Frei’s critiques of Quebec policy have been critiques of this ministry. In the current controversy, he’s been staking out a different stance than has Ford.

His father was viewed as Canada’s JFK and with his flower child wife, brought about the Canadian version of Camelot. Of course it was not true in either the US or in Canada. Fast forward to the present and one can see in both countries what happens when a romanticized left gets power and proceeds to turn on its own people. It is ever that way and unfortunately the the populace are slow learners.
