Cloth masks in general have done close to bupkis in regard to the Black Sniffles. Masking healthy kids, or forcing kids to “learn” at home by staring at screens, was simple child abuse, done for purely ideological reasons, and because the teachers’ unions liked the idea of members getting paychecks for little real work when distance “learning” is the order of the day. The political revolution that is coming will have many sources, but angering parents who love their kids above everything else on this Earth will be among the most important.

So, in fact, all along it was just about commanding obedience to their “authority.”
Whenever a bureaucrat says “my hands are tied” all it means is “I don’t want to take responsibility for this.”
1% chance that there is an actual policy that prevents the bureaucrat from doing anything.
24% chance that there is a policy in place against what is being asked, but it could be appealed with paperwork that the bureaucrat simply doesn’t feel like filling out.
35% chance that the bureaucrat’s superior asked the bureaucrat against doing what is being asked, but in a completely non-binding way that the bureaucrat could easily ignore.
40% chance that there is no policy whatsoever, either official or unofficial, and that the bureaucrat is just saying this in the hopes that you go away.
