Could it be that the secret China deal had a gag clause on anything that would harm the “pristine” image of the CCP? It sounds absurd but so does the idea of the communist party choosing who will be Bishops for the Holy Catholic Church.
Why is it the Vatican refuses to criticize China in anyway? Could it be there’s some truth in this?

A few years ago I refused to believe that a well known cardinal, a maker of other bishops, molested seminarians. Now I don’t know what to believe and the silence is deafening.

In France Catholic churches are being burned and desecrated on nearly a daily basis. Yet not a word of condemnation from the French parliament. Barely a response from the Church hierarchy. Anti-Catholic bigotry and attacks on property increasing worldwide. No media coverage and no backlash. Anti Catholicism is the last acceptable form of discrimination. Arthur Schlesinger was correct when he said this.
