Having lived and traveled in the Philippines during the Marcos years, I know what an insurrection looks like. Jan 6 was little more than a disorganized frat party except for the completely wanton and unnecessary killing of Ashli Babbitt by a clearly untrained and incompetent member of the Capitol Police. In fact, there are any number of file films on Google of genuine insurrections that bear little resemblance to what happened in the Capitol. The summer of BLM riots, a good example.
Again, end it don’t mend it.
