Thought For the Day

Word of mouth worked wonders for the Early Church.  In the age of the internet trying to police Church bulletins is charming in its utter cluelessness, which basically sums up the Pope’s war against traditional Catholicism.

Hmmm, might be time for the laity to start their own bulletins for their respective parishes. Make them digital, or mailed newsletter, or a flyer passed out prior or after Mass.

Pope Francis is helping the laity take over many functions of the Church faster than previously expected.

The laity have their own newspapers (National Catholic Register, The Remnant, etc.), their own tv stations (EWTN, Gloria.tv, etc.), and their own online publications (The American Catholic, etc.).

God does work in mysterious ways.
