I hope that the narrative that drove the coverage that day finds it too expensive to keep supporting the narrative. Unfortunately the pockets are deep for media monopolies and technology Lords.
Hitting their reserves is the best way to get their attention. Even if it’s only chump change for them.
Don’t know how money makes any of this better for that boy.
It makes it worse for his enemies which makes it better for him.
But it’s change for them. It’s not really going to teach them anything or stop their unethical journalism practices. It’s more an inconvenience to them. That boy still has to live with the experience. Money won’t change that for him. Anyway.
But it’s change for them.
It sets a precedent that will be followed by many, many others. Great avalanches often are started by a few pebbles.
