I have no life, Thank God.

Most weekdays [if I’m not doing some stoop-labor chore], I follow the financial markets on TV – FoxBusiness. All day last Friday, they were calling it the Nu variant – I thought that was cute.

It’s simply more proof the WHO, the USSA oligarchy, the legacy media, and academia are wholly-owned by China.

It’s just another real-life beta test of the Efficient Government Hypothesis. The government always passes. Funny how that works.

There are eight African countries in the temperate and subtropical zones. Seven are experiencing no surge in cases. The eighth (South Africa) is experiencing a seasonal surge which is less pronounced than the surge they were experiencing last year at this time. Public health officialdom has said the cases they are seeing are mild. And what happened to the ‘South African variant’ they were chattering about last year?

As to the world we actually live in, the signs in the harbinger states continue to point to a season a great deal milder than last year’s. While we’re at it, new cases in Sweden are down 80% from this time last year. The 7-day moving average of deaths in Sweden has been in the single digits for the last six months. A proportionate figure for the United States would be < 370 deaths per day. There was a run of weeks in June and July of this year during which our death tolls were in that zone and that’s the only time in the last 20 months we in this country were so free from concern. Sweden, unlike Norway and Australia and other places which successfully sealed their borders last year, doesn’t need an exit strategy.

One, the doc that found the Xi variant says it is a nothingburger.

Two, in January 2020, when President Trump declared a similar China virus travel ban, it was RACIST [code for I have no rational response]. Now, Brandon’s handlers ban black Africans and it’s courageous.

Note that not only is the travel ban on African nations, most of the nations in the ban have no confirmed omicron cases while many European and Asian countries with confirmed omicron cases have no ban.

But of course the point of the ban is to drum up scares. Banning travel from major nations would be too costly for such a purpose, but banning travel from minor African nations (plus South Africa) carries very little cost. The average public won’t realize the difference anyway, especially when the news will be sure not to mention it.

Evidently, they intend to maintain China virus hysterics through 2022 and steal [universal, unaccounted, uncontrolled mail-in and Zuckerberg drop-box fake ballots] the mid-term elections as they did 2020.

It appals me that Fauci is invoking “science”…or rather “Science.” Medicine is technology, not science. The premeds I taught thermo to were good at memorizing, but not so much at rational analysis and constructing from basics. Same thing when I was the MRI physicist at an acute care hospital later in life–good at assembling facts; less good at going to fundamental principles.

The chair of the South African Medical Association has come out publicly and stated that this new variant is not deadly, symptoms are mild and can be treated at home. Meanwhile, Australia has delayed border reopening. Again. Sigh. Even though there are a few cases in isolation already with this variant.
