Again, it hardly mattes what Biden wants or does not want. The people who need to work toward restablizing prices would be the Federal Reserve Board. Six of the seven seats on the Board are currently filled, one with an Obama appointee and five with Trump appointees. No clue what they think they’re doing.
I’d be fascinated to know who in the White House personnel office arranged for this red-haze kook to be nominated for the position of Comptroller of the Currency. The Secretary of the Treasury is a woman with a long history as an establishment economist within the Democratic Party. Why couldn’t she or didn’t she put the kibosh on this appointment?
