There is neither Jew nor Greek: there is neither bond nor free: there is neither male nor female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3: 28
Leftists have no comprehension of Christianity. Without divine assistance through the grace of God, one might as well be explaining algebra to a dog.

“Jesus wasn’t white like an Englishmen .”
Gee, I’ve got a better one:
Jesus, the Twelve and His Mother were Jewish.
We All have a Jewish Mother.
Us: We are brothers and sisters: all poor, banished children of Eve.
Them: We evolved from primordial pond scum and feces-flinging [their main talent] monkeys.
Us: Daily, we cry to Our Blessed Mother, Queen of Heaven.
Them: Comply or else.
“Therefore, I flew to you O virgin of virgins, my Mother!”
Today, Christianity and democracy are in more danger than in 1571 at Lepanto.
Our Lady of Victory, pray for us.
I always want to ask them why does it matter? Does His skin color impact His lordship? Does it change your worship of Him? Does His skin color make His claims more true or false? Is He any less risen because of His shade?
The older I get, the harder it is not to notice that these issues are so often just distractions.
:drinks coffee:
So, Jews are ‘not white’ this week?
Or is this only when they think it will be upsetting to people who have MY BOSS IS A JEWISH CARPENTER bumper-stickers?
DAVID WS
We All have a Jewish Mother.
:big grin: This is actually a really touching bit of theology, at least to me– it’s just such a twisty way to fulfill the whole “have a Jewish mother to be Jewish” thing, even while saying “you don’t really need this.”
Plus, for heaven’s sake, giving us a mom. I have a good mom, but so many folks don’t….
Right in the feels.
Nate Winchester wrote “I always want to ask them why does it matter? Does His skin color impact His lordship? Does it change your worship of Him? Does His skin color make His claims more true or false?”
No, Nate. Perhaps I’m stating the obvious here, but the leftists/Marxists who write such things do not believe ANYTHING we believe about Him. They think that writing such things will make (some) of us hate or disbelieve in Him. That’s how little they think of us and what we believe about Him.
“Yes, all of the Europeans, Sub-Saharan Africans, East Asians, Sub-Saharan Africans, Aboriginal peoples, etc. who worship Him are aware that you and Christ share a resemblance that is strictly physical.
Now try to spend the season working on the moral resemblance.”
I have always thought it is significant that the Gospels give us no indication of what Christ looked like. Such details might be of historical interest, but have nothing to do with His mission to bring salvation to mankind. The older films that never showed the face of Christ captured this aspect of Christianity.
Oh yes, @BPS, my question was quite rhetorical, I quite agree with you. 😉
Excellent comment, @Dale Price. I will steal it for my own use, I think.
Nate: by all means.
Just remember to do the editing that I failed to, alas…
This is prime witch test material. They want you to waste time by talking about whether YOU believe in Christ “even though he is not white.” But in doing so they assume a position of supposed moral superiority by pretending that THEY believe in Christ in a purer way than you do. If you turn the question on THEIR belief, you will be unlikely to get an answer of “Yes, I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior” which in turns deflates the gamble for moral superiority.
My dog is farther along in the process of understanding algebra than leftists are in understanding Christianity.
