With most Leftists, Glenn Greenwald and others being honorable exceptions, defending free speech had a sell by date: only so long as it was convenient for them. The Left, most of it. is all about power to implement its agenda of the moment. Everything else is empty verbiage, to be reversed in an instant if the politics of the day call for it.
