The last conclave consisted of Cardinals appointed by John Paul II and Benedict XVI. The next election will consist overwhelmingly of Cardinals appointed by Jorge Bergolio. You ain’t seen nothing yet! I firmly believe the Church is indefectable. Is that Church the one in Rome with Bergolio as Pope?

Not so sure. Conclaves can be surprising.
Mr. Parrish — If by “the Church”. you mean the visible hierarchy, then no, it is certainly not indefectible. In fact it has already defected.
But if by “indefectible” you only mean that there will always be a faithful remnant, then that’s something that I think could be true. But I think we are venturing outside of official Catholic doctrine here, or at least outside of what we were taught concerning popes and the body of bishops.
