Insanity on Stilts

The attempt by the Left to remove all references to women in regard to exclusively female activities such as having periods and giving birth would be  hilarious except it is another indication that many of these people are barking mad.  A sane adversary you can reason with;  an insane adversary can be responded to only with force if necessary to protect oneself and others.  Of course the Leftists are not only insane, they require other people to participate in their insanity.  Example:

Only two generations ago this type of madness was fit only for humor:

If the concept of Freedom means anything it must encompass the freedom not to have to accept lies and delusions as fact.

• Synod on Synodailty.
• Men who identify themselves as women are offended by the use of pregnant women.
• Men who identify as women compete in sports against women and happily take awards they should never have had the chance to take.
• A presidential election was stolen and the thieves install a dementia patient.
• If you don’t feel badly about your whiteness because of centuries old slave ownership than you are branded a racist.

Oh how grateful I am that my parents are deceased.
God rest their souls.

As for the living?
STOP THE WORLD…I want to get off.

“they require other people to participate in their insanity.”

I think it’s rather All people are required to participate. None of this is based on sound reasoning, expect the sick evil reasoning that if you can change the words you can change reality.

The CDC has persuaded me that Schools of Public Health should face the same fate as Schools of Social Work and Schools of Education: shut them all down.

What will it take to shut them all down? A collapse? A biblical size event that alters the way we live?
Both?

Voting has always been the civilized way for change.

What happens when common folk loose their confidence in free election processes? Is hyperinflation on the horizon?

St. Pio preached to not worry, Pray and Trust in God.

I believe that this is the providential gold thread that Our Lord wishes humanity to hold onto. To draw closer to Him.
Substitute vice for virtue.
Weakness to strength.
Complacency to action.

Jesus, I trust in You.

Even if you don’t include people with testicles, the stats are total BS.

Not insanity – PURE LIES.

First, the CDC stats [deaths per live birth] are refined bullshit. They omit thousands and millions of natural miscarriages and murderous abortions.

Figures don’t lie. But, liars can figure.

To put this scare-mongering in perspective, if the pregnant [women and live births] death rates (754 in 2019 and 658 in 2018) increase 70% they rise meteorically from 2 to 3 per 10,000. THREE in TEN THOUSAND.

Of course, one more person dying is reason to steal your liberties.

Punch a democrat. j

Priest today after all the Readings on Marriage… in his Homily said “Let’s not get distracted today on the readings today on marriage, let’s look to all the readings from Mark the last few weeks on how we should welcome others and how that is the meaning of being a disciple of Jesus…”

When he said “distracted” I repeated that word as a question loud enough for others to hear.
Incredible.

“Men who identify themselves as women are offended at the use of ‘pregnant women'”.
Actually, I suspect it’s the other way around- biological women who have gotten pregnant and given birth, but identify themselves as men, or non-binary, or anything other than women, are probably the ones most offended at being called pregnant women. Though I can’t imagine this demographic being more than a tiny minority of mothers, since the whole point of declaring yourself not female (I thought) was to avoid all the terribly oppressive things that women endure, including pregnancy and childbirth. I would also think that “trans men” (women) who had undergone hormone treatments to appear more male would be highly unlikely to get pregnant anyway.

Thank you Elaine.
Your right.
I didn’t ponder that aspect but you have a good point…if one can be found at all in this strange world of gender politics.

I was thinking of the man who gave birth a year or so back, after having went through surgeries and artificial insemination and bizarre unnatural practices…I would need to find the story to be accurate in its entirety.
I’m going from memory Elaine, but your correct. Mostly it’s about the women/trans unhappy with the wording.

I could only find the transgender woman who kept her female parts but underwent hormonal therapy anyway and became the first so-called male to give birth…but that truly isn’t correct. She was what she is regardless of looks and therapy.

David, are there any better parishes within driving distance? Or is this one typically better?

@Pinky, there may be a parish within driving distance that’s “better”. There is one that’s worse,
I feel the the church is being eclipsed.

David WS. Well that priest blew a golden opportunity to be positive about the sacrament of matrimony and family life. Wonder if he is one of those who thinks we shouldn’t pro create…just growth by immigration? Supposedly 400K are arriving this month through what used to be our southern border.

I’m just saying, if you can expect your nearest parish to be damaging to your faith, and you’ve got a car, do what I do and go to a better parish. I can wish for my closest parish to get better, and I do pray for it, when I happen to remember it’s there, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to attend unless I have to. (My car broke down once and I biked there.)
