PopeWatch: Passport

Well, treating lay Church employees like dirt, while preaching the sanctity of worker’s rights to the World, is an old and dishonorable Church tradition, but this takes the cake.  No religious exemption, you pay for your own test and if you don’t like it you go on unpaid leave.  Once again the Pope is acting like an abusive father.  Catholics historically have turned to the Church in times of trouble.  Today, the Church is too often an enthusiastic participant in the troubles facing ordinary Catholics. This is deeply shameful and not at all surprising.

Very little of what is happening in the secular world and in our own Church surprises me anymore. I expect it to become more insane with the coming of each new day and as yet I have not seen anything to indicate that things will be better in the short term …”for now we see through a glass, darkly;”.

I’m so old!

I remember when America was a free country.

Shameless.

One, an unvaccinated son says he will not get stabbed, no matter what – he cites clots, heart inflammation, and freedom. He has four children under four years. I advise against. He says, “I’ll work it out.”

Two, our pastor recently told us the parish owns a house (Really!) and wants to house filthy (he’ll need to teach them about toilets), Afghan pagans. Lock away your daughters!

Conclusion, the parish has too much money. My sons’ family may need the money.

Beginning this Sunday, I reduce my envelop contribution and save the money for my grandchildren (nine altogether) as they may need it.

Revolution.

The unpaid leave for non-compliance may be due to Ceasar insisting on it.

I would have hoped the Pope would have noted that refusing to pay workers was unjust, although I suppose it is unjust to pay workers who are not working (never mind they aren’t allowed to do so).
.
The latest conspiracy theory is that the Medicare Tracking System has on record some 48,000 plus elderly folks that have died pretty soon after the SC2 vax. And then there are the young men who have myocarditis, and all the other rather strange medical events that seem to suddenly occur to people soon after either the first or second shot.
.
If these vaccines prove to be an early 21st Century Thalidomide or DES, the Church is going to suffer an extreme blow.

A question that arises is whether or not the anti-humane mandate mistreatment is based upon health, economic issues, or control games. What better way for the left to rid all institutions and major corporations, by being able to dump and destroy, or punish economically, their more principled workers?

Big storm brewing regarding forcing workers to be vaccinated as conditions of their employment in order to “keep the workplace safe”. I’m sure the unfair dismissal lawsuits are the next step of this pandemic. The thing is vaccinations have become a means to abuse power. It has already been determined that you can both catch Covid and pass on Covid even after being fully vaccinated. Vaccines only allege to reduce the symptoms if one catches it. I chose to vaccinate as did my husband. I have family members who have vaccinated and some who absolutely refuse to get vaccinated. Each to their own.

They can’t create two classes of society based on vaccination status.

If the idea behind mandatory vaccination is indeed to “stop the spread of Covid” then the only way to do this is by testing a person. And determining they don’t have Covid. And if they don’t have Covid then they cannot pass on Covid. And this would be through either a PCR Test or Rapid Antigen Test. I’m not sure how accurate the latter is though as it’s something fairly new. Mandatory vaccination is a lazy response by government and the like and doesn’t really solve the problem at hand.

Gee, I wonder what St. Catherine of Siena would say to Pope Francis if she had a private audience with him.

Couldn’t there be an alternative, with plenty of historical precedence, that would allow one to merely ring a bell in the presence of others, whilst loudly crying out “Unclean! Unclean!”? (With the proviso, of course that one provide one’s own bell.)
