PS: Yesterday, our pastor said he is trying to get a family of Afghan pagans, er refugees, to house in a vacant [formerly housed nuns] home the parish owns.
I’m too obedient and humble to suggest he sell the house and give the money to the poor; or to ask if he’s intent on removing the Crucifixes; or to ask if he will instruct them in the Gospel. I’m pretty sure I know the answers.
Note to self: If he has a [red-hot real estate market] house laying around, the parish is far wealthier than I had estimated. Now, I will give less in collections and use money to buy a smart phone.

Was it Fort Bliss or Fort Hood where that muslim major murdered a bunch of GIs?

My son over the weekend had to go to El Paso to the Ft Bliss tent city for the Afghans. He said most of the guys building the place were vets from the two Sand Boxes and had some choice words among themselves.
I sure wouldn’t want to live in quarters on base if the security is anything like Camp McCoy WI where State or Homeland Security Depts let the refugees go off the base. The CG wasn’t even asked or notified beforehand.
Would love to see a list of where these folks are being dumped and released. Who wants to bet they are all or nearly all destined for red states?
