And now if justice would also fall upon all those supporters of his who acted like “flying butresses” in order to keep him pretending to be on the up and up….
“….all the kings horses and all the kings men couldn’t put humpty dumpty back together again.”
The parents of the abused victims as well as the victims themselves have a very difficult balm to apply to their own hearts. If they apply it, they will heal so much faster and be renewed in Faith. If they choose not to apply it, their anguish, resentment and mental pain will linger on.
Forgiveness.
Forgiveness is the supernatural balm that treats the perpetrator and victim, healing hearts and revealing one of God’s greatest gifts to mankind. Mercy.
This scum is still living on the pew sitters dime. Look up, Ted, your time is coming.

Spoken like someone who has never experienced sexual abuse at the hands of clergy. I have.
You can forgive your perpetrator & still not have the damage that was done healed. I know for certain. Healing from such an injury is a seemingly never ending process. It affects every aspect of your personality & life over time.
I see him so hunched over and I think of some of the description from John Bosco, ( I think) about how the devil on the back of a person actually kept him bent down
