Good that the interpreters story was Tucker Carlson Tonight and in the WSJ. Others left behind 600 journalists who worked for Voice of America and the US State Dept. Some citizens and some not. A dozen to up to four school buses of Christian girls from California. Not sure why they were in Afghanistan but it doesn’t matter they are left behind. The girls were able to get through the Taliban “security” to inside the airport but the State Dept wouldn’t let them board their plane. But “stranded” according to the WH is not a word to be used.
NOT RESIGN. IMPEACH! Don’t let Biden claim health problems; resign and slink away. Congress and the American people need to hear his lies, learn the truth about all the bad judgements; hear the final conversation with President Ghani, the phone call transcripts; learn the real numbers of the resulting dead, the real numbers of our citizens and allies left behind and the real cost to the American people. Next impeach the VP who has been AWOL from the border crisis, the drug crisis and the Afghan crisis.
The rest of the incompetent, woke, bloodied yes men/women should resign. No make that fired..
Cam, if both the Chief Operating Officer (i.e. Biden) and what’s her name were to be impeached before January 2023, then Mad Nancy would become President. Do you really want that? Maybe after January 2023 when a Republican House and Senate are electing, God be willing.
This is what you get for the stolen 2020 election.
Professor, As of 31 August 2021, 220 Democrats and 212 Republicans serve in the US House. Margin of 8. There are currently 3 vacancies, 2 D (a death and a resignation) and 1 R (a resignation). There are quite a few what ifs – such as what if more Democrats resign and Republicans win the ensuing special elections and the House has an R majority. What if the Dems keep the House but lose confidence in Mrs. Pelosi and a new speaker is chosen? Could be bad or could be good The worry might be when Harris becomes president, the appointed VP might be someone who has potential as a promising presidential Dem candidate.
Most of the Dems are in their home districts/state now. There’s a core of Republicans who are spending their break in DC and they are on the war path about Biden’s Afghanistan disaster and the open southern borders. Every day something new and damning is revealed about our Fearless Feckless Leader. and liberal newspapers like the NYT and WashPo are starting to print the leaks. Maybe there is hope.
