Dave Griffey at Daffey Thoughts requests prayers:
Prayers request
That’s not a typo. I mean prayers, as in many, frequently, often. I’ve been at the hospital since Friday with my wife. Doctors believe she has suffered from a mild heart attack. Her family has a long history of heart problems, and she’s actually quite old to have encountered her first cardiac crisis. Â
Nonetheless, you’re never ready to hear those words applied to a loved one. She’s undergoing testing and treatments, and praying that this will be caught early enough that medications and the treatments they’ve used are good to get her back on the road to recovery.Â
So any prayers available, we would appreciate it. Get the word out and call those prayer chains. More information to come as it unfolds. Â
Go here to comment. Time to storm Heaven.
REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
Prayers offered. May she know the healing power of God.
Praying…
I shall pray, being a sojourner when it comes to cardiac events. I am very sorry for Dale’s wife. He is doing for her what my wife did for me. God bless and strengthen him too.
Praying for Mrs. Griffey. The Magnificat is a very powerful prayer.
In my prayer, for safe recovery.
Prayers heading up right now.
God be with her and your family.
Praying for Mr. & Mrs. Griffey.
Not sure how I missed this the first time– prayers sent up.
