Five hours late for this nothing burger of a press conference? The senile puppet is obviously breaking down under the strain. He looked like hell, probably a result of the powerful meds he is pumped up on. He is much worse than no President at all.
His masters didn’t need to schedule a press conference— but they did. The people actually running this administration appear to have decided to make a spectacle of Biden’s incapacitation. I’m guessing that soon he’ll be sent off to the political glue factory.
Apparently the same press that ignored Hillary being tossed into the back of a van during her run for President has been given the go-ahead to start noticing that Biden is mentally unfit— something anyone with eyes could see a year and a half ago.

Any chance of Harris naming Hillary as vice-president if she succeeds Biden? And then Harris resigns in order for Hillary to become president? It’s a nightmare I get once in a while. I don’t see Harris wanting the presidency. It’s way more than she ever thought it would be. She can’t even handle the vice-presidency.
I guess that for Biden Afghanistan is just one more lid to call.

DJH, in theory it’s possible, but the general consensus is that it won’t happen. Democrats only need one Republican Senator to flip to get whoever they want in the VP slot. Between Collins, Murkowski, Romney, and general politics (the GOP being solely responsible for the VP seat staying vacant for the rest of 2021 and all of 2022–and possibly beyond, depending on how the Senate races turn out–is a very bad look) they’ll get that flip.

but I just shook my head. I remember the Clinton years, and how the GOP took over the Congress. Some high ranking Dem from the House of Reps decided not to run again. All the, um, interesting goings-ons with the Administration: Whitewater, Waco, Vince Foster, Monica, etc. My father had a book (from that time) called The Last Democrat. Well, they came back with a vengeance. The ruling class might (might) be down in 2022/2024, but they won’t be out by any means.
I stopped reading and contributing to The American Thinker because I concluded most of their writers are living in a fantasy world. Not worth getting all worked up about the stuff they like to predict.
I worked for a pharmacy with nursing homes for nine years. Biden’s symptoms are classic. Usually, the mental deterioration goes first, then the physical. In some cases, like this, they go hand in hand. Weekend at Bernie’s was comedy; this is not.

Throwing insults and unsupported attacks in defense of the indefensible appears to be the go-to argument for those who arrive at this site and are Progressives before they are Catholic.
John, Biden the CATHOLIC has removed all restrictions for abortions up to delivery, he pushes for LGBT rights over religious rights of conscience, he and his party supports assisted suicide, supports euthanasia, he approves and officiated same sex ‘marriage’, approves of homosexual rights again over religious conscience and approves the genital mutilation of children who question their sex despite knowing that it is a mental illness called gender dysphoria, has turned the southern border into a national crisis where children are NOW in cages, children raped and trafficked, inflation the highest in 30 years, gas prices topping well over 3.00 per gallon and now John, Biden has authored the worst military fiasco in possibly all of American history in Afghanistan. No one disputes we needed to get out but the manner in which it the withdrawal was conducted was unforgivable.
Now, tell me John, what has non-Catholic President Trump done or said that was so much WORSE than this Biden laundry list? “…unhinged rants by a narcissistic madman desperately clinging to power by any means he could concoct?” List them please.

If Biden can only bear up for three short public appearances during the worst American crisis since 9/11, he’s not going to run for re-election. I’m not sure he’ll make it until the midterms, no matter how creatively they blend up the Adderall medical cocktail.
And another 14 months of inappropriate cackling during almost-as-limited public appearances isn’t going do much to prep Harris for the task of steering this crumbling nation. But she’ll be at the helm before 2024, that much is clear.

if there were “unhinged rants,” you’d be able to point to them.
Those noticing Biden’s dementia can give evidence, including multiple source checklists for mental deterioration.
Those claiming Trump gave insane “rants” either offer no evidence, or are stuck using “factchecks” that pretzel the truth to justify a conclusion, such as taking a 10 second clip of a discussion on currently experimental techniques, removing the part that says “maybe they are looking into something similar for COVID,” and then rephrasing it to sound as foolish as possible. That’s called “a lie.”

Based on his words and actions, Cupich, whose mentor was Cdl. Bernardin, is a pathetic shepherd and appears to hate actual Catholicism. You know, like our Lord and His Apostles taught it. Unfortunately his rank in the Church is the fault of the Pope who first made him a bishop, the sainted John Paul II, who also gave us Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio. Whatever good there was about JP II, and there obviously was a lot of that, he made awful personnel decisions for which the faithful have paid dearly in many places.
OT, but serious question: back in the days when bishops were chosen by their flocks, were the results really any worse than they have been for the past 100-150 years or so? I really don’t have any idea. But the current system is broken. And I haven’t a good suggestion for its reform.
A nation and all of its people must suffer for the actions of its government. The corruption in our government is at an all time high. As we turn further away from God’s commandments and precepts, evil multiplies. Biden, Pelosi, and the democrats have chosen the devil’s ways over God’s. Abortion being the Devils favorite sacrament, as Nancy calls it.

Capsule biographies of Cdl. Bernardin I’ve consulted do not have references to the pontifical colleges Cupich supposedly attended. During Cdl. Bernardin’s lifetime, he does not appear to have ever had a post in any ecclesiastical province in which Cdl. Bernardin was contemporaneously in service. He did not join the Conference of Catholic Bishops until after Cdl. Bernardin’s death. He supposedly had some sort of sinecure at the nunciature in Washington from 1981 to 1987, so would have crossed paths with the bishops at the Conference. However, this was after Bernardin’s tours as staff director and president of the Conference.
