Actual science. Well, that certainly hasn’t been tried in the Covid debacle yet. Those prating “Trust the Science!” have been peddling anything but. They now have their knives out for Doctor Dan Stock who is speaking in the video. The PuppetMasters’ Administration and the Tech Lords want free debate to be a lost art in the land of the formerly free. That is why YouTube pulled the above video after it gained three million views. If one side is attacking alleged “misinformation” by censoring it, the smart money says that they have a lot to hide. We have not had an honest and open debate about Covid the reaction to which, and not the Covid itself, has had such a devastating impact on our country. Freedom tends to work every time it is tried on such a question, while brute force crushing of opposing views merely spreads opposition and cynicism.
My mum sent me this last week. I feels it’s going to fall on deaf ears to those in power who do have an opportunity to follow the science. And it’s a little too late as the horse has bolted on the vaccine trail.
All part of the process of appealing from the people drunk to the people sober and establishing a record for the future. Thus acted the people who objected to the Salem Witch trials in 1692, although their objections seemed futile in the face of hysterical madness.
“Science” is a false god, and the problem is that the public (and scientists–socalled) have not been educated in what science is all about. Instead of teaching students to solve pulley problems and when do two trains meet, or do chemical equations, they should have been studying the history of science, how the caloric theory of heat was disproved, whence The Second Law, why there is no ether,…why N-rays don’t exist,….Off the soapbox now.
This is best thing I’ve seen or heart on the rationale for letting Covid runs its course, obtain herd immunity, and do NOTHING else.
Consequently , it should be clear that some in the government know all of this and are using Covid to effectuate total control of the population for the purpose of setting the stage for One World Government. The same is happening with our economy by using inflation to impoverish the population to soften folks up for the same One World Government. The the same is being done in the Catholic Church by Vatican II morality immunization setting the stage for a God free One World Government..
By the time we look back at how insane this was (and yes I tend to agree that it’s better for it to run it’s course without a vaccine) we will all be forced to vaccinate. Or loose our livelihood and our freedom in the long-run. Not knowing what this experimental vaccine will do to our health in the long run. It’s diabolical, and everyone knows this. That’s what makes this so hard. Sorry for being negative. But that’s the truth. Only a miracle from God can stop this. But why should He help us now when it’s us who have done this to ourselves..?

Personal Risk Assessment!
Two things can be true at-the-same-time. I have met people who have been seriously debilitated by this disease, and others not. Some who are paranoid and wear a mask outside, others who are wearing a mask when in contact with others because they have an immune disorder.
Months ago I recognized that there BOTH short time risk and long term risk, to BOTH vaccine and disease. Decided in my case that the short term risk of vaccine was less than short term risk of COVID, and the long term risk of COVID was worse than the long term risk of vaccine (yes there are bureaucrats pushing these vaccines, but they’re not the bright engineers that developed it, these I would trust more, bureaucrats no.) In addition, I take vitamin D, C and Zinc daily, exercise and get a good night sleep to keep my immune system up. I chose Moderna because although it was tested with fetal tissue, it was not developed with fetal tissue. Frankly with four children, I crossed that moral concern long ago with their vaccines, this concern and moral dilemma is nothing new.
There is way too much emotion on both sides of this argument. The subject appeals to our base bad angels of: my tribe, others being unclean, totalitarian, fear of totalitarians, revulsion to sickness, perception of others putting us at risk.. and many more…
We all need to take a step back and make a personal risk assessment! And respect each other’s decision as well, whatever that may be.
I should add that I knew months ago that a virus related to the common cold and infectious to other mammals, would continually mutate and be with use potentially for a long long time.. factor that into your assessment. We are all almost surely going to get a version of this thing, be it vaccine or actual. (Thanks CCP!)

What’s crazy about the current moment is how blatantly dishonest the narrative is getting.
My work instituted a mask mandate, including for vaccinated people, with the reasoning being that the Delta variant is too contagious and that the vaccine is of limited effectiveness against it. The literal next day they started to push for required vaccinations with the reasoning being that the Delta variant is spreading and that the vaccine is the only thing which is effective against it. (Currently there are ways around the vaccine, even if they are inconvenient. But if it comes to taking it or losing my job I’ve already made the decision to lose my job, though I’ll follow my own advice and force them to fire me rather than resigning.)
Last night on Carlson he referenced an Irish study on masks and children. As a result of the findings Irish children attended school w/o masks and remained healthy.

Re immunity post virus: A mid 70s church friend
came down with COVID around the holidays. Her husband came down with it and died at the hospital after put on a ventilator. 80 yo, trim, active, no underlying issues, took no meds. She had the anti-body test 4 months later. Positive, good. Another 4 months she was tested because she was to visit her daughter with MS. Looking on My Chart she saw that she was Negative. Her doctor called with the good news that she did have anti-bodies. He explained that the test results had many parts and that the Negative on her My Chart was good but that was only the 1st part of the test. She is relieved and will visit her daughter w/o getting the vaccine.
A thing to remember with masks– they are not zero risk. Besides the pneumonia angle I keep pointing out, there is a known thickening of the blood caused by oxygen deprivation that is a risk factor for strokes.

I think we have had endless lies on Covid from health authorities Mike, especially in regard to the utility of masks, where they were against them before they were for them. Dr. Stock may be correct or incorrect, but that is to be determined by the American tradition of robust and open debate, something sadly lacking in this whole Covid debacle. This attitude of silencing dissenting voices by force was nicely demonstrated by the post you linked to:

The CDC has not been perfect, and its shortcomings can and should be responsibly criticized, which the WSJ has done quite well.

I can see your point Mike, but the law, for instance, has often been changed by attorneys brave enough to challenge what appeared to be settled law. In regard to questions of science I think that it is never entirely settled on most questions and that debate never hurts. Flat Earth advocates are still with us, but have no influence not because their ideas are suppressed or their advocates threatened, but because they cannot make a convincing case. Pasteur when he came up with his germ theory was subject to many attacks by professional medical bodies in France. Quacks are exposed by debate and worthy ideas only benefit from debate.

I couldn’t help but note that he’s stating the case for masking (that the virus is carried in a medium) without any reference to bibliographies of studies on the measurable effectiveness of these implements in preventing transmission.

there is a lot of emotion, some popular rhetorical tricks, and a lot of appeal to authority, but the linked website is short on evidence and rational argument.
That the guy spends a lot of time trying to attack the speaker, carefully avoids noting that the guy does actually have a medical license and has been practicing medicine for [does a quick check] longer than the author has been speaking, and a really big tell is that the author OPENED with DARVO– Deny, Accuse, Revers Victim and Offender. He accused the doctor of doing what, objectively, the author is doing when he declares that Stock is engaging in an eristic technique in which a debater attempts to overwhelm an opponent by excessive number of arguments, without regard for the accuracy or strength of those arguments.
The accusation of “spreading misinformation” for COVID has become a term of art applying to those who state anything not currently approved by the accuser, even if they do so in the form of directly quoting the speaker, or in the form of a study which the accuser not only has not but in most cases cannot argue against rationally.
The basic claim may be true, but by both the standards of rational debate and the standards that he, himself, has set– Nirenberg fails to support them.

Also how about Dr Stock’s flash drive that he submitted to the school board? He stated that the drive contained detailed information that would support the points he made in the brief time allotted. The flash drive contents haven’t been been made public or maybe the data has been but the media is not interested..
