I made a comment on a local news station that had 2 stories consecutive; high profile star granted restraining order against stalk and people of LA call to defund police.
My comment was a lot of good the order will do if there are no police. Someone commented that I was dumb and didn’t know what I was talking about. So I put the definition of defund. The only comment was I was too stupid and needed to look it up even though she couldn’t explain what it was either.
What I have come to realize is it is cutting force back so much that criminals can operate in open freely – like Mafia.
